Our totally web-based system gives you fast access to merged in-file credit reports. The flexibility of our fully customizable output allows you to create the format that’s right for you.

Supplements

Our system provides the ability for automated requests of Updates, Supplements and Corrections to your borrowers’ credit reports.  Supplements are automatically returned to you within 24 hours (depending on the creditor).  Rush service is available upon request.

Residential Mortgage
Credit Report

MAF Mortgage Services most comprehensive report meets or exceeds all government agency guidelines: FHA/VA, FNMA, and FHLMC. Reports are returned within 24 to 48 hours.  Timely updates and supplements are available through our friendly and courteous customer service staff.

Alternative/
Nontraditional Credit Report

For borrowers with a minimal credit history, we can manually build a credit report based on information from utility or insurance companies, as well as other non-traditional credit grantors.

Automated
Underwriting

MAF Mortgage Services is connected with Fannie Mae and GMAC-RFC.  Reports can be reissued to provide mortgage credit information via FNMA Desktop Originator, Desktop Underwriter, FMAC Loan Prospector and GMAC-RFC Assetwise as well as most lenders’ Automated Underwriting Systems (AUS).

Software LOS
Interfaces

Our interfaces with Loan Origination Systems (LOS) allow mortgage professionals to request credit reports and receive credit information directly from their processing software.  Credit information received can be automatically added to the LOS program’s 1003 loan application.  Interfaces currently exist for over 20 LOS programs, including Encompass, Contour, Calyx POINT, Genesis, and Byte to name just a few.                               

Streamline Mortgage Only Report

Automated reports can be ordered as required for FHA Streamline Loans.  Available with or without scores.

Canadian Credit Reports

Canadian credit reports are available from Equifax for your Canadian borrowers.

Bankruptcy Papers Search

When copies of bankruptcy papers are needed and unavailable from your borrower, we can search and provide copies for you.

Social Search, Trace or Trace Plus

Report available for Quality Control to verify Social Security information o clients/borrowers.  Reports return name and address information for all individuals that match provided social security number.

OFAC

Office of Foreign Asset Control, Alert provides automatic scan of the national terrorist database.  Available as an addition to your credit reports to meet lenders’ requirements

Precise ID

Be compliant with Red Flag rules and regulations with the Precise ID report.  Searches multiple databases for address and other discrepancies.  Available as add-on to every current credit report request or as a separate report request.                                      

Rapid Revision

Correct or update trade line information within 48-72 hours with the repositories at the national level.  Changes can positively affect the borrower’s credit score, giving you the competitive advantage when selecting the right loan program for your borrower in the quickest time possible.                                                                   

CreditXpert
Score Analysis

These invaluable tools give you the ability to suggest actions for improving your borrowers’ credit scores.  Credit Assure, Credit Detective, Credit Essentials and What If are available online to give you specific actions and potential score improvements expected from completed actions.  May be used in Planning Mode or in the Rapid Rescore Mode to simulate how actions would be affected within days.
When used in conjunction with Rapid Revision to report changes to the national repositories, see score changes almost immediately.

Experian Business Credit Reports

Business reports provide actual trade payment experiences, public record information, company background, and comparative data, placing a company’s payment performance in context with its industry.

Reports

Individual or corporate credit reports designed to comply with city, county, or state licensing requirements. Complete this application to request your report.

Flood Certifications

Our flood determinations meet all government requirements and are regularly updated to ensure that your organization remains in full compliance with FEMA and NFIP (National Flood Insurance Program). Through strategic joint marketing alliances, MAF Mortgage Services’ flood determinations are transferable to virtually all mortgage services.

Life of Loan

Monitoring of the FEMA FIRM maps for changes in your borrower’s flood zone status. Notification by certified mail of all flood map revisions for the life of the loan.  We can also provide $1 million to $5 million of liability (errors and omissions) insurance.

Portfolio Compliance
Services

Comprehensive portfolio reviews with flood zone determinations on every loan.  Also available is portfolio monitoring for the future flood map revisions.

HMDA/Census
Tracking
